Application of Smart Screwdrivers on Linear Motors
When it comes to motors, those working in the industrial control sector are surely no strangers to them. As the most fundamental type of drive equipment, motors are an indispensable component for powering all kinds of machinery. Besides the servo motors and stepper motors we often hear about, in recent years, with the advancement of the industry, linear motors with even more powerful functions have gradually begun to enter the market. Today, we’re going to talk about voice coil motors— a type of linear motor that can be roughly categorized into cylindrical voice coil motors, oscillating voice coil motors, flat voice coil motors, and rectangular voice coil motors. Like other linear motors, the voice coil motor is a device that directly converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, thereby achieving...
Application of Smart Screwdrivers in Automotive Inverters
Speaking of inverters, as most people probably know, they’re devices used to convert direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC). A car inverter specifically converts the DC 12V from a vehicle’s battery into the commonly used AC 220V. In overseas markets, the automotive industry is already highly mature, and many families enjoy outdoor living. By using an inverter to transform battery power into household electricity, they can conveniently run various home appliances and tools even when they’re out in the wild. Although this concept hasn’t yet fully taken root in China, as a convenient tool for converting DC to AC, inverters are gradually becoming an essential companion for cars. The output power of a car inverter via the cigarette lighter socket can be...
Application of Smart Screwdrivers in Non-Standard Products
The term “flexible manufacturing” has gained popularity since the emergence of the Industry 4.0 concept. In the past, manufacturing in industry often gave people the impression that every machine was performing repetitive tasks day in and day out. However, with the advent of the flexible production line concept, people have begun to strive for a production system capable of handling multiple task patterns on a single line. Achieving this kind of production model not only allows for highly effective cost savings—eliminating the need for a dedicated production line for each product—but also significantly boosts overall production efficiency. Yet, this shift requires machines that once performed only repetitive actions to become “flexible,” a goal that remains relatively challenging to achieve with today’s technology.
What exactly is the effect of combining a smart screwdriver with robotic vision?
What is robotic vision? As the name suggests, robotic vision uses camera technology to capture visual information, processes this visual data, and extracts valuable insights to feed back to the robot. The robot then performs appropriate actions based on this information. Compared to manual inspection, robotic vision systems offer significant advantages in terms of efficiency, convenience, and accuracy. As China’s “Made in China 2025” initiative continues to accelerate, the application of robotic vision systems is becoming increasingly widespread. For example, in the SMT industry, when paired with a robotic vision system, it can rapidly capture the distribution pattern of solder paste. If the system detects uneven solder paste distribution or insufficient solder paste quantity, it can immediately trigger corrective actions.
