With the development of 3C electronic products, a large number of studs are applied in electronic products. If screws are the bonds of fastening, then studs are the foundation of fastening. As the saying goes, "If the skin does not exist, where will the hair attach?" This saying aptly highlights the importance of studs. Locking screws is a later process in product assembly; if there is a problem in this process, all previous efforts will be in vain. Therefore, modern large ODM and OEM factories are increasingly focusing on stud inspection, investing more manpower and resources in testing before assembly.
Studs are usually welded or injection molded into the product casing, becoming an integral part of it. In addition to ensuring the quality of materials, it is also necessary to ensure the tight connection between the studs and the casing. Whether the stud threads meet design requirements, whether the tensile performance is up to standard, and whether the welding is stable have always been concerns for major manufacturers. Sensewee's solution: install a thread plug gauge on the smart electric screwdriver to test each stud on the casing, monitoring the force situation throughout the process. The entire process is divided into three steps: tightening, holding, and loosening. The smart electric screwdriver controller determines whether there are any abnormal situations such as thread stripping or poor welding by monitoring the relevant data of each step.
In subsequent production, unstable factors such as visual observation and manual judgment are eliminated. Through automated and intelligent testing methods, using CPK statistical analysis methods, the yield rate of studs is calculated, providing important reference and improvement directions for production, aiming to enhance product quality.
